About Us

The creation of Rainforth Home and Garden has been almost a century in the making. As early as 1920, Olive Rainforth was growing and selling plants and flowers from her farmhouse near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Recently the garden staff was passed to her great, great son-in-law, Craig Rees Cowden. With his love for all growing things and a lifetime career working with plants, Craig decided to share his knowledge with others. He’s gathered products that have passed his test and meet his high expectations for durability and value, and will combine those with advice and help from experts for growing and beautifying gardens everywhere.
